Marc Calmet competes with a cracked rib from a fall on stage 3 Dani Nosiglia finishes stage 5 in the top 20

STAGE 4
After the exhausting 48-hour Chrono stage, the riders were faced with the fourth stage of this Dakar 2025, which has been one of the toughest in recent years. The first part of the marathon stage with 173 kilometers of liaison and 415 kilometers of timed special stage, a very complicated day, with a long, rocky and sandy route, where it was vital to take care of the bike and tires because at the end of the day the riders had no assistance.
Bolivian rider Daniel Nosiglia, who thrives in the face of difficulties, finished in 27th position, remaining 25th in the provisional general standings.
A fall in the previous day's stage left Marc Calmet with a cracked rib, but despite this, Marc finished the fourth stage 61st, moving up one position in the overall, 53rd.

STAGE 5
The second part of the marathon stage, with 64 kilometers of liaison and 428 kilometers of special stage. A route with a very demanding navigation, on very fast sandy tracks and rocky sections, with many changes of pace. In the minds of all the riders at the start was to reach Hail to enjoy the long-awaited rest day.
Good result for Daniel Nosiglia, who finished the fifth stage in 19th place and continues to climb in the overall, now placed 24th. Marc Calmet finished 58th and is still 53rd overall.
Now, the Rieju Pedregà Team riders enjoy a well-deserved rest day, but it will not be so for the assistance team, with David “Pelut” who will face the tuning of the bikes so that they can face another tough week of rally.
In the third stage, our rider Josep Pedró suffered a heavy fall in which he fractured two ribs, one of them with displacement, with risk that could puncture a lung, for his own safety, Josep decided to abandon the rally. He is now feeling better and for the moment he is still with the Rieju Pedregà Team family accompanying and supporting his teammates in the bivouac.

STAGE 6
After the rest day, the drivers will have the sixth stage of the rally, Hail - Al Duwadimi, with a 224-kilometer liaison and 605 kilometers of timed special stage that will start with a rocky section and continue through a varied route with hills and dunes.

Daniel Nosiglia:
“We finished stage 5 and arrived at the rest day, the truth is that it has been a very very hard week. Happy to be here, we have had complicated stages with several problems. Today I was able to do a round stage and it showed in the results, the truth is that I'm very happy, I was able to go at my own pace. Now it's time to rest, we have one day and we'll be back with everything in the second week.”.

Marc Calmet:
“Well, end of the marathon stage, it has been a complicated few days, especially yesterday, with a lot of stone, very dangerous, it was very easy to fall and get hurt, plus I have a cracked rib and I can not fall, I have to be careful. The night went well, this morning I recovered and went out pretty well, the truth is that the first hundred kilometers were very good, the best so far. At kilometer 170 I got lost, I went around for 10 or 15 minutes, I could not find the way because it was all stones and I could not see any path, I got a little disoriented but well, I got out of there and finished well. The truth is that physically I feel better, a little cold. In the end tomorrow we will be able to rest, a well-deserved rest stage. I'm very happy with this first week and to be here in one piece.”.

Josep Pedró:
“We are already at the end of the first week of the Dakar, as you know I am out of the race. The day before yesterday I had a hard fall and I fractured two ribs, one of them is in a bad position and the decision was not to continue and rest. It has been a very complicated start of the Dakar for me and for many riders, it's been a really difficult and hard Dakar, I think we all share that this is the kind of Dakar we want, so we don't regret anything.
My teammates Dani and Marc have already reached the end of their first week and now the hard work starts for the mechanics. Tomorrow we have the rest stage and the bikes are done from top to bottom from the first to the last screw. I hope they have a very good second week on the Dakar and that the team gets some good results.”.

At the same time, RIEJU reached an agreement with THE DACIA SANDRIDERS team, so that their official drivers Sébastien Loeb, Nasser al-Attiyah and Cristina Gutiérrez, will have our innovative and fun electric motorcycles E-Tango, customized especially for this occasion, at their disposal for their trips to the Dakar Rally camps.
