In this German GP, Alfredo Gómez did not compete as he is preparing and training for the international Hard Enduro season, so he defended the colours of the Rieju Factory Team Dominik Olszowy.
The Polish rider took a brilliant position in Superpole, setting the third fastest time of the afternoon in the Prestige class.
Dominik then proved to be fast and technical, battling in all three races of the evening among the top five. However, the Rieju rider commented that there was only one possible route to set a good time, causing him to make some mistakes when trying to overtake his opponents. Despite this, Olszowy took two fifth places in heats one and two and sixth in heat three after suffering a crash.
The next competition will take place on the occasion of the Romanian GP, the fourth round of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, which will be held for the first time in Cluj on 20 January.
Dominik Olszowy comments:
"We have just finished the race, it was a difficult race, we will keep on training and working. It was practically a one-track circuit, so it was very difficult to overtake, bad luck".
