The Rieju Factory Team travelled to Badajoz, specifically to the town of Valdecaballeros, for the second round of the 2026 Spanish Enduro Championship, held over a double race weekend.
On this occasion, there was no SuperTest, so on Saturday, more than one hundred riders faced three not overly long special tests, to be completed over three laps. After Friday’s rain, the terrain offered low grip conditions, requiring precise riding, while conditions improved on Sunday.
TN Junior & Women: Rey and San Miguel take victories
Rieju rider Juan Rey was unstoppable, setting almost all the fastest times in his category to secure victory in TN Junior. He repeated this strong performance on Sunday, once again taking the top step of the podium and maintaining the championship lead.
María San Miguel also delivered a strong performance, taking victory in the Women’s category on Saturday. On Sunday, she fought again for the win but narrowly missed out by just 10 seconds, finishing second. Combining both days’ results, San Miguel leaves Extremadura satisfied with the overall win.
Enduro3: Double podium for Aguilar
Francesc Aguilar, increasingly comfortable on the MR300i in the Enduro3 class, delivered a consistent and solid performance, finishing third on both race days and securing valuable points for the championship.
Enduro1 & Junior Open: Sanjuan and Galera score points
In the Enduro1 class, Liam Sanjuan completed the nine special tests on Saturday to finish in fifth position, repeating the same result on Sunday.
In one of the most competitive classes, Junior Open, Jordi Galera had an inconsistent weekend, finishing seventh on Saturday, while on Sunday he suffered an issue and was unable to finish.
Family & Friends: Marsal continues to secure podiums
Among the Family & Friends riders, Josep Marsal stood out by taking victory in the Master 55 category on both Saturday and Sunday, allowing him to take the provisional championship lead.
The third round of the season will take place in Almería, at the Enduro of Antas, on April 18th and 19th, where the Rieju team will once again fight for podium finishes.
