UP TO 7 RIEJU MR MAKE IT TO THE FINAL PODIUM OF THE GIRONELLA ENDURO

Valuable results for the Rieju Factory Team riders, with Dominik Olszowy finishing 2nd in the Super Test and 3rd in Enduro 3, Àlex Puey taking 3rd in Enduro 1, and Rosie Rowett claiming 1st place in the Women's category.

UP TO 7 RIEJU MR MAKE IT TO THE FINAL PODIUM OF THE GIRONELLA ENDURO

The Gironella Enduro in Barcelona hosted the second round of the 2025 Spanish Enduro Championship. Although it was a one-day event, several international riders took part, and it also counted toward the Catalan Enduro Championship.

The changing weather conditions, with rain falling on Saturday, left the special stages very muddy. The event began with a short but highly technical Super Test, which became even more challenging as more rain fell. Despite this, the Rieju Factory Team was already celebrating a strong performance by Dominik Olszowy on his MR300i, who secured an impressive second place overall in the Super Test.

Early Sunday morning, after a night of continued rainfall, the riders tackled three demanding and technical special tests during the first lap on extremely muddy terrain. Fortunately, the weather improved, and the ground gradually dried out.
SuperEnduro specialist Olszowy delivered a performance that improved lap by lap, ultimately finishing third in the Enduro 3 class and seventh in the overall scratch classification. Àlex Puey also impressed in Saturday’s Super Test, finishing sixth overall. On Sunday, he maintained a fast and consistent pace, earning a third-place finish in Enduro 1 and placing tenth overall.

In the Women’s category, British rider Rosie Rowett clearly outperformed her rivals and claimed the final victory, while María San Miguel completed the podium in third place.
Several other riders on Rieju MR bikes also reached the podium, including Yago Domínguez with a third place in Junior Open, Juan Rey in TN Junior, and Josep Marsal in Master 55.

Now, the riders will shift their focus to the second round of the EnduroGP World Championship, which will take place next weekend in Oliana (Lleida).

Rosie Rowett:

"A really good day for me at the Spanish Championship, keeping a strong pace throughout and really enjoying being back racing with my MR250 — and taking the win!"
