The 2026 FIM EnduroGP World Championship came to a close this Sunday with the seventh and final scoring round, held in Rhayader (Wales, Great Britain). For RIEJU Factory Racing, the event was charged with emotion: Rachel Gutish had already secured the Women's World Title at the Portugal GP and arrived in Wales aiming to wrap up and celebrate an outstanding season. Her teammate, Britain's Rosie Rowett, still held very solid chances of taking the world runner-up spot.

In Friday's SuperTest, both factory riders chose not to take on any more risk than necessary, aware that the real battle would be decided over the following two days. Gutish finished fourth, while Rowett came home seventh.

On Saturday, the riders were met with terrain very different from what they had expected—dry and dusty, along with temperatures unusually high for Great Britain. Rowett knew this was her opportunity and did not let it slip: she attacked from the start at a very high pace and, especially in the Cross Test, managed to open a gap on her rivals, ultimately taking a clear victory with a margin of more than a minute over the second-placed rider.

Gutish, already crowned champion, built momentum as the day went on. It didn't take her long to find the right rhythm, and she posted the best times in the Enduro and Extreme special tests, which eventually allowed her to move up into second position.

On Sunday, the final day of competition of the 2026 season, Rachel Gutish set out determined to impose her pace. The champion set the fastest times in the first three special tests and opened a 53-second lead over the second-placed rider—enough to manage the race and close out the day with another win.

Rosie Rowett, Saturday's winner, was once again at the centre of an intense fight with her rivals. By the end of the day she had secured second place, 8.89 seconds behind her RIEJU Factory Racing teammate—a result more than enough to score the points she needed to seal the world runner-up spot.

With three consecutive World Titles in EnduroGP Women's—two of them won by Gutish—and two runner-up finishes for Rowett, RIEJU confirms the high level of its riders and the competitiveness of its MR PRO. The bikes once again demonstrated reliability and strong performance throughout the season, repeating the one-two achieved in 2025.

World Cup Runner-up for Jordi Galera

Jordi Galera claimed the World Cup Runner-up spot in the Open2S category. After leading much of the championship, he closed out the Wales round with two third-place finishes. It was a shame that crashes hurt his chances of fighting for the title, though they don't take the shine off a hard-fought season.

Liam Sanjuan competed in Junior, the largest and most demanding category of the championship. On Saturday he finished 9th in J1 and 22nd in the Junior classification; on Sunday he was 10th in J1 and 21st in Junior, ending the championship in 11th place in J1.

"I'm really happy to have won my two world titles. Everything went really well—I built up a good lead after the first lap and simply focused on managing it to the end. I feel great. Especially now, after winning two consecutive world titles, I'm really pleased.

RIEJU Factory Racing has always been incredible with me. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have been able to return to racing. They put a lot of faith in me when they decided to bring me into the team, and I'm very happy to have been able to prove that faith was justified.

Now it's time to enjoy these final moments of the season, and I can't wait to see what the future holds."

Rosie Rowett – 2026 Enduro Women's World Runner-up:

"It was without a doubt the best weekend I've had all season, and on top of that it was my home Grand Prix. I felt strong from the start. I began the event simply aiming to finish, and after taking the win on the first day, on Sunday I just needed to get to the end to secure second in the World Championship.

So I really enjoyed the day, and I even managed to finish second that day too. I'm super happy with the bike and with the whole event."
