DANI NOSIGLIA IN THE TOP TEN OF THE 10TH STAGE OF THE 2023 DAKAR

Amidst the short sandy stage 10 of the Dakar 2023, Dani Nosiglia surprises with his speed by finishing in an excellent tenth position in Rally GP. Llanos and Cabrera, keep going strong with their goal.

DANI NOSIGLIA IN THE TOP TEN OF THE 10TH STAGE OF THE 2023 DAKAR

The Dakar Rally in its 10th special stage has moved from Haradh to Shaybah, at the gates of the "Empty Quarter" through a long link of 510 kilometers, to then dispute a short but intense special stage of 114km, characterized by the white and soft sand, starting the route on tracks, to continue between dunes, in this case dry, where the riders' physique has been important.

Spectacular Dani Nosiglia has flown in this special, catching the pace of the leading riders to finish in an excellent tenth position among the Pro, so he remains in 27th place in the general classification.

Diego Llanos also felt very comfortable in this special terrain, starting the first kilometers with caution, and then accelerating and battling for a few kilometers with some of the big riders of the race, maintaining a high pace, which allowed him to finish in 25th place overall and 8th in Rally2.

In a somewhat cautious start due to a different state of the terrain than seen so far, Pato Cabrera has been gaining the necessary confidence in the course of the special to ride fast in the dunes and enter the 39th position of the stage, again up one place in the provisional general, now 41st.

#54 Dani Nosiglia:

" To tell the truth I'm super happy, the third clean stage I've had in the whole Dakar and it has been reflected in the results. I felt very good, from start to finish I pushed as hard as I could and that's why I managed to finish in the top ten of the stage, so I'm very happy and looking forward to everything that's to come".

#29 Diego Llanos:

"A nice stage, 114 kilometers but of just dunes, I felt comfortable during the whole stage, I started a little slow at the beginning, to get into the rhythm, Walkner and Branch caught up with me, I was able to follow them for a long time, getting to a good pace for me. Now I have to rest to face tomorrow's stage, which is a marathon".

#35 Pato Cabrera:

"We entered the sand, I felt very comfortable throughout the day, and I enjoyed it. At first, I had a little scare because the sand was very soft, but as the day went by, I got used to it and started to enjoy it. So anyway, very good, happy and tomorrow we have a 100% sand day and the ones to come, but I think I got the rhythm, so I'm happy".

We arrive at stage 11 and for this, the organization has prepared a marathon stage between Sheybah to Aradah, starting the day with a link of 153km and then the riders will find a special of 274 kilometers, with all kinds of sand and dunes that will take its toll on the riders' physique, and these, in turn, will have to take care of their mechanics, keeping in mind that on arrival at the bivouac, only the riders will be able to assist themselves.

*It is important to note that due to the fact that the classifications suffer last-minute changes by the organization, these may differ from those published.
