RIEJU Factory Team's Dominik Olszowy in the top five in AMA EnduroCross

3rd and 4th round of the AMA EnduroCross Series at Idaho Falls

RIEJU Factory Team's Dominik Olszowy in the top five in AMA EnduroCross

RIEJU Factory Team's Dominik Olszowy took on the third and fourth rounds of the AMA EnduroCross at the Mountain America Center stadium in Idaho Falls, USA.

From the same locality, the competition started on Friday night, beginning with the classifications, then came the fast lap, where again Olszowy stood out by getting the third position.
In a narrow and technical track, not too fast, the first race started, in which Olszowy touched with another pilot and fell shortly after starting, descending to the last position, race in which he finished eleventh.

In the second race, Dominik attacked from the start, getting an early lead, which allowed him to finish in second position, despite some problems with lagging riders in the area of the stones. In the last race of the night, Olszowy started in the middle of the group, finishing ninth. The sum of the results leaves him in sixth place in this third race.

On the second day of Saturday, the competition used the same venue for the fourth race. During the fast laps Olszowy was not as successful as in the previous race. In the first race, he finished in fifth position. In the second heat, the Polish driver finished fourth and in the last heat he repeated his result in fifth position, so Olszowy finished the night as the fifth best driver overall.

After four rounds, Olszowy is in fifth position in the provisional overall standings of the AMA Enducross with a total of 63 points.

Dominik Olszowy:
''Double round in Idaho wasn’t easy one but we manage to get through in one piece despite few big crashes. After some ups and downs at Friday we finished 6th overall and regrouped for Saturday’s round. We wanted to ride more consistent and with 5-4-5 result got 5th overall. Now we have 2 weeks to prepare for two last rounds in Redmond and Everett.''
