MIXED RESULTS FOR THE RIEJU FACTORY TEAM AT THE XXVII ENDURO 100 MILLAS DE ANTAS

Third round of the Spanish Enduro Championship in Almería

MIXED RESULTS FOR THE RIEJU FACTORY TEAM AT THE XXVII ENDURO 100 MILLAS DE ANTAS

Andalusia hosted the 27th edition of the Enduro 100 Millas de Antas (Almería), with just over a hundred riders taking part in what was the third round of the Spanish Championship.

The event once again kicked off with the Friday SuperTest, while Saturday and Sunday’s special stages proved demanding, as expected, due to the dry and arid terrain. This resulted in tough and very dusty conditions, combined with a 50-kilometer course featuring trails and rocky riverbeds typical of the area.

Jordi Galera: difficult Saturday, podium finish on Sunday in Junior Open

On Saturday, Jordi Galera was fighting for the top positions in the highly competitive Junior Open class. However, due to heavy dust, leading riders were delayed at the start of the special stages, causing many competitors to receive penalties. Despite being in fourth place provisionally, Jordi was ultimately disqualified. Fortunately, he bounced back on Sunday, securing a third-place podium finish.

Fifth place for Liam Sanjuan in Enduro1 and retirement for Francesc Aguilar in Enduro3

In the Enduro1 class, Liam Sanjuan delivered a consistent performance, finishing fifth on both race days. In Enduro3, Francesc Aguilar suffered bad luck, as he crashed early during the first lap of Saturday’s stages, forcing him to retire and preventing him from competing on Sunday.

Women’s class: María San Miguel on the podium both days

The demanding conditions also took their toll on María San Miguel, who pushed hard during Saturday’s stages. A crash cost her valuable time, but she still managed to finish third. On Sunday, she improved her pace and was fighting for the win, but another crash in the final special stage ruled her out of victory, leaving her with a strong second-place finish.

Family & Friends: Podium finishes for Josep Marsal

Josep Marsal, riding his Rieju MR 300i within the Family & Friends program, once again showed his speed by finishing third in the Master 55 class on Saturday. On Sunday, he refined his riding and improved his result, finishing second.

The 2026 Spanish Enduro Championship will now take a long break before returning in September for the fourth round, which will take place in La Torre d’Oristà (Barcelona) on September 19–20.
