In terms of the chassis, the new MR 125 stands out for its high-strength steel double perimeter beam chassis and a removable reinforced steel subframe. It also has an aluminium swingarm that makes the bike lighter, making it much easier and more stable to ride. Even so, we must not forget that, to a large extent, this stability is also thanks to the size of its wheels: 21" front wheel and 18" rear wheel with Michelin Enduro 90/90-21 front tyre and 120/90-18 rear tyre. With regard to its suspension, this model includes stock a top notch 41 mm Ollé R16v adjustable inverted fork (rebound and compression) Ollé R16v on the front, which gives the rider greater sensitivity while riding, as well as allowing him to modify the suspension travel according to his weight, riding style or preferences. The rear suspension is no slouch either, with an Ollé R16v triple-adjustable (preload, rebound and compression) monoshock gas shock with separate PRS system. Also, when it comes to braking, this model is fitted with Galfer Wave brake discs at the front and rear - the front with a 300 mm diameter J.Juan double piston caliper and a 200 mm diameter rear.
In terms of dimensions and technical capabilities, this is one of the most compact motorbikes on the market, with a wheelbase of 1,405 mm, a maximum width of 800 mm, a moderate weight and a seat height that's perfect for enduro riding. A factor to take into account if you are looking for agility and easy handling.
