Central Italy hosted the last two rounds of the 2026 Italian Motorally Championship in Umbertide, with a classic format of two 25 km special stages on Saturday and a single 50 km stage on Sunday.
Here, Lencioni secured a result few would have predicted at the start of the season. Third on Saturday, he followed up with a commanding second place on Sunday, a display of strength that moved him up to second in the standings. He is crowned 2026 Italian Motorally Vice-Champion in the Marathon class, and also finishes inside the overall top 50.
What makes the achievement truly stand out is the gap in machinery. Throughout the season, Lencioni took on dedicated rally bikes and far more powerful dual-sport models with the smallest bike on the grid, and still battled consistently for the podium. Competing at the front on paper-inferior equipment is a clear demonstration of both the rider's talent and the capability of the Rally 307.
RIEJU closes the championship with great satisfaction, confident of having given its all throughout the season.
