Dominik Olszowy takes his first AMA Endurocross race victory

The RIEJU FACTORY TEAM was competing in the indoor enduro event, with Dominik Olszowy putting in an impressive performance. The rider from Poland already stood out in the timed qualifying, where he managed to place 5th on his MR 6DAYS, while in the fast laps he was the second fastest rider of the day.

fastest driver on the track in the fastest laps.

In the first heat of the PRO class he finished in 9th position, but a crash caused him to lose a lot of time and positions. In the second race, Olszowy started on the front row, reversing the order of the classification of the first lap, this allowed him to start and quickly get into the first position, getting a spectacular Holeshot and stay ahead at a high pace, to finish with an impressive victory, the first for Olszowy and historic for RIEJU. In the third race, Dominik again made a great start, to again take the lead, shortly after an opponent blocked him, dropping him to the provisional fifth position, then the RIEJU driver attacked again, placing himself again as leader of the race, but was caught by his rivals, finishing in 4th place. In the sum of results, Olszowy finishes this second round in fourth position.

After competing in these first two rounds, Dominik is in fifth place in the AMA Endurcross standings with 32 points.

Dominik Olszowy - Rieju Factory Racing:

‘I felt very comfortable with my bike and suspension in Prescott Valley. Finally, all my parts arrived in the US, so I prepared my setup for the second round of AMA Endurocross. After taking second place on the fastest lap, a crash in the first heat cost me a lot of time and the chance to fight for the podium that night. We decided to make some changes before the second race and it paid off. I got the holeshot, led every lap to the chequered flag and took the first race win for Rieju in Endurocross. I am very happy, the team works very hard for this. In the last race I finished fourth and was fourth overall. All the pieces are coming together, so see you in Idaho Falls!’
