The RIEJU TEAM rider, Oriol Mena finished stage 3 of the Dakar Rally in 15th position with a time of 03H 49 '20' '(+ 00H 15' 57 '') while his teammate Joan Pedrero did it in la 28, with a time of 03H 56 '46' '(+ 00H 23' 23 ''). The rookie Marc Calmet, for his part, crossed the finish line in position 46 with a time of 04H 24'13 ''.
At the end of the stage, Joan Pedrero told us:
"The third stage has been super fast. We have done an average of 100 km / h. They are not stages for me, they are not for my physical demand that we stop the wind a lot and in the end the bike does not run as much as the others. We have been hard all the race. If there were more navigation we could go much better but hey we are here, on the third day. Let's see if tomorrow there is more navigation and it is better for me."
Very good feelings on the second stage of the Dakar for all the drivers. We are very proud of the results.
