INFIESTO ENDURO, 4TH ROUND OF THE SPANISH ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP, WITH GREAT RESULTS FOR THE RIEJU FACTORY TEAM

Podiums for Dominik Olszowy in Enduro3 and Àlex Puey in Enduro1 Puey remains the championship leader in Enduro1

The Asturian town of Infiesto hosted the fourth scoring round of this season’s Spanish Enduro Championship, where the Rieju Factory Team once again achieved outstanding results.
The race kicked off Friday afternoon with the Super Test, a stage that mostly combined natural terrain with only a few artificial obstacles. In this session, Dominik Olszowy secured ninth place overall (scratch), followed closely by Àlex Puey in tenth.
On Saturday, as is often the case in Asturias, the riders faced rainfall that had persisted throughout the night and into the morning, leaving behind a slippery and increasingly challenging track. Under these conditions, Dominik Olszowy rode his MR PRO 300i masterfully, battling in the front group all day and finishing fourth overall. In the top-tier Enduro3 class, he fought intensely for the win and ultimately claimed second place on the podium after completing the day’s nine special tests.
Sunday’s stages were repeated, but with improved weather conditions. Olszowy faced another fierce battle—arguably even tougher than the day before. Despite setting very competitive times, he ended the day sixth overall and dropped to fourth in the Enduro3 class.
Àlex Puey started Saturday strong, setting excellent times in the cross test and extreme test, finishing second in Enduro1 and tenth overall. He remained competitive on Sunday but a few mistakes during the enduro test allowed a rival to overtake him, pushing Puey to third place in Enduro1 and ninth overall.
It’s worth noting that Rosie Rowett, the championship leader among the women, did not participate in this race.

Victories for San Miguel, Domínguez, and Marsal on their RIEJU bikes

Among the rest of the RIEJU-equipped riders, María San Miguel stood out by posting the best times across all of Saturday’s special tests, securing the category win. Sunday proved more challenging, but she still climbed onto the podium in third place. Yago Domínguez claimed victory in the Junior Open class on Saturday and finished third on Sunday. Juan Rey finished fourth on Saturday and third on Sunday in TN Junior. In the Master 55 class, Josep Marsal took a brilliant win on Saturday and placed second on Sunday.
With the first four rounds of the 2025 Spanish Enduro Championship completed, Dominik Olszowy has improved his standing in the Enduro3 class, now sitting fourth overall, while Àlex Puey maintains his lead in the Enduro1 championship.
The championship will now take a long summer break, returning with the fifth round in Huércal-Overa, Almería. The Castellolí round is possibly going to be canceled.

Rider Quotes

Dominik Olszowy:

“We’ve just finished another race in the Spanish Championship. Two good days of racing—I ended up fourth and sixth overall, and second and fourth in Enduro3, which puts me third in the class. That’s quite solid. We’re making progress. Now it’s time for a little vacation. A short break from the bikes.”

Àlex Puey:

“I’m quite happy with the weekend—we performed better than in previous rounds. On Saturday, I got tenth overall and second in E1, which are solid results. On Sunday, I finished ninth overall and third in Enduro1 because the rider behind me really pushed hard. Still, I feel strong and very happy with how the bike is working and with the whole team. The race was tough, with a lot of mud and very difficult climbs, but we managed it well. Big thanks to the entire team for all their work in making sure everything ran smoothly and the bike performed great.”
