ROSIE ROWETT CROWNED 2025 FRENCH ENDURO CHAMPION

Rosie Rowett secures the title with one round still to go in the championship. Loïc Larrieu holds onto second place in the E3 class.

The RIEJU Factory Team achieved excellent results at the penultimate round of the French Enduro Championship, held this past weekend in Normandy. Among the standout performances were Rosie Rowett, who was crowned French Enduro Champion, and Loïc Larrieu, who currently sits second in the E3 category.

The event, hosted in the Normandy town of La Ferrière-aux-Étangs, was marked by flawless organization and ever-changing weather conditions. The opening day started with morning storms that complicated the beginning of the race, leaving the ground slippery. Fortunately, the rain stopped after a few hours, allowing riders to compete under better conditions for the remainder of the day.

Rosie Rowett, new Queen of French Enduro

In the Women’s category, Rosie Rowett (Rieju) arrived as the championship leader and showed her strength from the start. On the first day, she battled closely with her main rival and climbed onto the podium in second place. On Sunday, the excitement continued. Although Rowett began slightly behind, she refused to give up and, thanks to her determination, set the fastest times in the final special tests. This comeback allowed her to fight for victory, which slipped away by less than three seconds, once again finishing second.

The combination of these two runner-up results and the points she had accumulated throughout the season mathematically secured Rowett the French Championship title, despite one final two-day round still remaining. This achievement is particularly remarkable as it is her first participation in the French championship.

We want to congratulate Rosie Rowett for an outstanding season and for clinching the title. Bravo, Rosie!

Provisional Standings – 2025 French Enduro Championship, Women’s Class

Loïc Larrieu earns valuable points towards the championship finale

In the E3 category, the main battle was fought between two standout riders. Loïc Larrieu, riding his MR PRO 300i, launched a decisive attack on the final lap of the first day, securing second place on the podium. However, on Sunday, Larrieu suffered a crash in the fifth special test that cost him valuable minutes. Despite pushing hard to recover, he had to settle for fourth place, missing the podium by just 0.38 seconds.

Thanks to these results, Larrieu now has 155 points and remains in second place in the E3 championship, with the final double round scheduled for October 10 and 12.

Rosie Rowett’s statement:

“Overall, this weekend wasn’t that good, we had some problems, but despite that we did the best we could to finish. With two second places, I was happy to come away with the championship. I can’t thank the team enough for helping me achieve this goal.”
