SUCCESSFUL START FOR THE RIEJU FACTORY TEAM IN THE SPANISH ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP

Up to 4 podiums for the Rieju Factory Team in the Pantón Enduro (Galicia)

The Spanish Enduro Championship 2025 started this weekend in the town of Pantón, Galicia.

Despite the cold during the days of competition, it did not rain in the area, finding the 144 participating pilots with a terrain in excellent condition, through a route of 55 kilometers of rally, along with three specials, one fast, another more ratonera and technical, plus a short extreme, combining natural objects with some artificial, a route and specials that made up to four intense laps for the PRO, on Saturday and cutting one on Sunday. On this occasion, the test did not include the start of the Super Test on Friday.

Enduro-1: Double victory for Àlex Puey

In the E-1 class, Àlex Puey, after his initial passage through the SuperEnduro World Championship, where he showed his potential, now more recovered from his injury, made his debut riding his Rieju MR PRO in the traditional enduro, with which he achieved the victory, after winning almost all the special stages on Saturday, without giving any option to his rivals. On Sunday he was once again on top and this time he set all the best times of the second day, ending the weekend with an excellent double victory and provisionally leading the category.

Enduro-3: 5th place for SuperEnduro rider Dominik Olszowy

In the top class of Enduro-3, the Polish rider Dominik Olszowy, a specialist in SuperEnduro, had to change the chip to compete in traditional enduro, finishing the first day in 5th position. On Sunday he repeated Saturday's classification, although in some special stages he set times very close to the winner of the race, which shows his great riding skills also in these races with the new MR300i PRO.

Dominik Olszowy took the victory of the GRO Special, the lubricant brand rewards the fastest driver in the sum of all his times for this special.

Women: Rieju's domination continues with Rowett and San Miguel

Among the women, Rieju has been dominating the category for several years with Mireia Badia, in her absence, now continues to control in this new season thanks to the British rider Rosie Rowett, who clearly imposed on its rivals after obtaining all the best times on Saturday, as well as on Sunday that repeated his excellent performance, to take a double victory in this first test and also leaves Galicia leading the category. The success of this class was completed by María San Miguel, after climbing the podium in third place on Saturday, improved her performance on Sunday, to take a brilliant second place.

Junior Open: Numerous Rieju MRs in the top ten

Regarding the Junior Open class, it should be noted the results of several riders with Rieju, in this case on Saturday the best of them was Jordi Galera, who climbed the podium in 3rd position, Yago Dominguez finished in 6th place and Bruno Bozzo in 7th. On Sunday these pilots would maintain similar results, with Jordi Galera 5th, followed by Yago Domínguez 6th and Bruno Bozzo 7th.

TN Junior: 2nd position for Juan Rey

The class of the youngest, the TN Junior, Juan Rey, a rider who normally competes in the Hard Enduro specialty, set several of the best records precisely in his passage through the extreme special, to finish the race in 2nd position in the category, while on Sunday he had a similar performance, despite this, he finished again on the podium, but placed in 3rd position.

Also noteworthy was the performance of Josep Marsal, who with his Rieju MR, won the first day and finished 2nd on Sunday in the Master 55 class.

The second round of the Spanish Enduro Championship will be held on April 27 in the Barcelona town of Gironella.
